Getting Started

From zero to a live mobile event experience in 5 minutes.

1. Create your organization

After signing up, you'll be prompted to create an organization. This is your workspace — all events, team members, and billing live here.

  • Choose an organization name (e.g., "MDT Group")
  • Pick a URL slug — this appears in your event links
  • You can create multiple organizations if you manage events for different clients

2. Create an event series and edition

Events in Stagebly are organized as series and editions. A series is your recurring event brand (e.g., "Sunrise Festival"). An edition is a specific occurrence (e.g., "Sunrise 2026").

  • Series — the overarching event brand
  • Edition — a single run of that event with its own content, dates, and settings

Choose a template to pre-populate your edition with sample content:

  • Festival — stages, artists, map, partners
  • Conference — speakers, tracks, sponsors
  • Blank — start from scratch

3. Add your first content

The edition dashboard shows all content sections in the sidebar. Start with the essentials:

  • Info — event description, rules, access directions
  • Artists — add performers with photos and bios (AI can generate bios for you)
  • Schedule — set up stages, then add performances with times
  • Links — your social media profiles and website

4. Customize your theme

Go to the Theme section to match your event branding:

  • Upload your event logo
  • Set primary and accent colors
  • Choose a background image or gradient
  • Preview changes in real-time on the phone mockup

5. Publish and share

When you're ready, go to the Publish section and hit Publish. Your event experience goes live instantly.

  • Download the generated QR code — print it on posters, badges, and wristbands
  • Copy the direct URL to share on social media or embed in emails
  • Any changes you make after publishing go live immediately — no re-publish needed
